About 200 meters of the residence, you have cycling circuit of Alma who meet the « Véloroute des Bleuets ». A few minutes walking from the Almatoit and you are downtown. Placed in a superb centenarian house wich throne in the center of a immence ground in the shade of some of the most beautiful trees of the city of Alma. (linden, maples, ash trees…)
One of the prettiest rooms of the residence is indisputably the monumental gallery on which you can be intalled comfortably to look at the summer. The common rooms are vast and the floor were brought back to their wood of origin. The furniture is generally rustic and there is even electric household appliances of the forties. The rooms are spatious and each one has is own distinctive character.
For breakfast, your host « almatois », calls upon all the resources of his art of cooking. He takes a jalous care in the choice of healthy products, regionals and/or biological. It could be the farm cheeses of the Lehman family, the local fresh fruits or the fresh eggs of small producers of the sector.
An almatois transformed the family Naud house to make a bed and breakfast of it. Built in 1905, the residence belonged to the Naud family since 1927. Albert G. Naud was the founder and the first mayor of Naudville, municipality which was amalgamated with three other cities to form « grand Alma » in 1962. Starting from the small history of this house, you can understand some of the outstanding facts of the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean
The ground offers an incredible horticutural potential, which already gives beautiful results being combined with the dozen of majestics trees to their full maturity.
